DAN MURPHY
Prior to joining Siv-ik Planning and Design as an Urban Planner in 2022, Dan’s professional experience consisted of five years across the public and private sectors in Southwestern Ontario. During this time, Dan assisted in the approvals of development applications, drafting of municipal planning documents, and assisting developers with urban design strategies. Dan’s multi-disciplinary background of urban planning and urban design enables him to approach projects from a range of perspectives, contributing to the realization of Siv-ik’s city-building projects.
Dan’s career began as a GIS and planning technician in the public sector, where he supported municipal staff in the processing of a wide variety of planning and development projects. Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Land Planning from Fanshawe College.
