Lauren approaches her work with a multi-disciplinary lens consisting of planning, urban design and community engagement. Prior to joining Siv-ik Planning & Design Inc., she worked in the private sector where she specialized in the facilitation of community engagement programs and the design of communications pieces for a variety of projects in Toronto and the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. She also began her career in a municipal planning environment for the City of London where she specialized in urban design, land use planning, public engagement and facilitation.

Lauren is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) in urban planning and is a Registered Professional Planner. Her academic background as well as her work experience enables her to approach projects from multiple perspectives and provides a strong knowledge base to deliver Siv-ik’s city-building projects.
